Palm Beach International Airport became President Donald J. Trump International Airport on this date. The airport says the change was required by Florida law.

The airport says the IATA code used in reservations, ticketing, baggage tags, and passenger-facing flight information changed on this date.

The county’s airport department lists this as the initial estimated cost for signage, wayfinding, branding, technology systems, printed materials, and other operational work. It says final cost will depend on actual expenditures.

The airport says the rename did not change its ownership, governance, legal status, or operational control. Palm Beach County continues to oversee airport policy, finances, and strategy.
Federal rulemaking also says the related airspace update did not change Class C or Class E boundaries, altitudes, or operating requirements. For a rename with a lot of surface area, the runway itself stayed stubbornly unbranded.
